Course Program Overview:

  • Vessel and Equipment Introduction: Familiarize yourself with the boat and its components, including navigation tools and safety equipment.
  • Steering in the Harbour: Learn how to navigate and maneuver your boat in confined spaces like harbors and marinas.
  • Steering on Open Sea: Master techniques for speed boating and wave riding, ensuring you can confidently handle your vessel in varying sea conditions.
  • Docking / Undocking: Practice safe and efficient docking and undocking methods.
  • Approaching Dangerous Areas: Learn how to approach areas of danger safely and navigate using nautical signs and markers.
  • Anchoring: Understand how to anchor securely and safely in different locations.
  • Knots Basics: Learn the essential knots every skipper should know for securing lines and rigging.
