Our journey with the sea began in 1950s in Novigrad, a picturesque town along the Istrian coast placed in Croatia.
It all started with my grandfather, a skilled ship mechanic and fisherman, whose deep love for the sea and its bounty was passed down through generations.
My father, a former chief engineer officer, continued that legacy, further cementing our family’s respect and admiration for the sea.
His unwavering dedication to the sea shaped our family’s connection to this beautiful coastline, and that bond continues to this day.
Today, Marea is a proud family-owned business based in Novigrad, Croatia, where we combine our long-standing love for the sea with a commitment to offering personalized boat tours that showcase the stunning beauty of the Istrian coast.
